About our block paving driveways
Block paving is the traditional choice for a driveway and it is still hard to beat — it takes the weight, individual blocks can be lifted and replaced if something ever gets damaged, and there is a huge range of colours, sizes and laying patterns to work with. Herringbone, stretcher bond, basketweave, a soldier course border in a contrasting colour to frame the drive. We set out the pattern before we start laying so the lines run true against the house and the falls take water where it should go, then edge, compact and joint the whole thing properly so nothing creeps or settles unevenly later.
